Here is some documentation of our first Repair & Share Event! We all got together for an afternoon of fixing and socializing. Friends and neighbors brought things they needed fixed, and we provided needle, thread, and instruction. So much fun...it makes you feel good...to fix things! WIth this Community Art Project, we drew a 3,000 foot long Yellow Brick Road in chalk and transformed downtown Easton into Oz! SO many people, so much fun! We even had a guest appearance by Grammy winner Judy Collins to celebrate the release of her children's book "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"!
A surprise musical performance during the Easton Farmer's Market (America's oldest, continuously run open air farmers' market). We rehearsed twice, then surprised the crowd! Can Be. (A Mercantile Community Art Project) from Ron Morris on Vimeo.
Our first large scale Community Art Project, Snowflakes for Easton brought the entire community together as we set out to cut 10,000 paper snowflakes in 3 weeks and hang them in every downtown storefront (occupied and available)!
